Patel Fertilizers & Agro Trade is an authorised retailer and small-wholesaler of fertilisers, seeds, pesticides and agro inputs, operating from Nawargaon Khurd, Gondia district, Maharashtra, since 1993.
Prior to establishing the retail firm, the founding family worked for several years as paddy merchants in the Gondia grain market, building working relationships with growers and traders across the district. This grounding in the local commodity trade preceded the move into agri-inputs.
Patel Fertilizers & Agro Trade was established in 1993 by Dharmendra Tejsingh Patel as a single-counter retail shop on the Nawargaon Khurd main road, stocking urea, DAP and a small range of certified seed. A credit-based sales arrangement was extended to local farmers from the first season and remains part of the business today.
The operation now occupies four rooms with two retail counters, supported by two godowns serving walk-in retail customers as well as small-wholesale orders across Gondia district. Direct dealership and distribution agreements are in place with Coromandel, Nagarjuna, VCMF and other major manufacturers. Field visits and grower meetings are conducted regularly in surrounding villages, often in partnership with manufacturer representatives.
Two services are offered to every customer at no additional charge.
All fertiliser, seed and pesticide stock is sourced from authorised manufacturers and carries a printed GST invoice with batch number and manufacturer details. Where a manufacturer accepts a claim against under-performance, the refund or replacement is processed by the firm directly.
Dosage guidance, pest and disease identification and crop-specific recommendations are provided at the counter and through our contact form. Coverage includes paddy, soybean, cotton, gram, wheat and vegetable crops common to the district.

Stock is accepted only with intact manufacturer packaging, valid expiry dates and registered batch numbers.
Where a lower-cost SKU is suitable for a customer's soil and crop profile, it is recommended in preference to a higher-margin alternative.
Dosage recommendations follow agronomic requirement rather than maximum sale, to protect soil health and farmer economics.
The day's published rate applies to all customers irrespective of order size, with transparent wholesale slabs where applicable.

Additional regional and crop-specific brands are stocked seasonally or on request.
The retail counter and customer enquiries are handled by three staff with combined experience of over seventy years in the agri-input trade.
